How does Pitt County SADD teach its students to handle these issues?
The SADD chapters in Pitt County are doing their part to educate students and parents on the dangers of social media. A group of students at South Central High School developed a presentation on Social Media Safety, and the powerpoint was shared at club meetings across the county. A detective from our local police department has talked with students at several schools, and he also spoke at a SADD parent meeting. Social media is at the core of every teenagers life. Pitt County SADD strives to educate students on the impact that unhealthy social media choices can have now and in the future.
